So a lot has happened in the past week. My first experience of India was not the greatest as someone stole my sandles out of my bag at the airport. The first hotel the university put us up in was in a shady area of town but not too bad once we figured out how to work the ac. It felt like I was drowning in my own sweat the next morning when we went for a walk. It is a weird feeling to know that all of the eyes on the street are looking at you. The bus tour of Delhi was interesting but I miss actually going into places. I will try to update more about my first week later, but I already have some reading to do for class.
