Howdy! So the last week or camp has sprinted right up and slapped me on the back - I can't believe how quickly it's gone! Time flies, as they say... Reminiscent of the first night off the Internationals were given way back in June, we were taken back to the same hotel, Birch Run, for our last night off at camp - it was gonna be a big 'un. After dinner together in a local Applebees, we all headed back to our rooms to start the party...a few of the waterfront boy...

Hi y'all! Only one week left of camp! This time next week I'll be getting on a bus and travelling out of camp and onwards on my travels, I can't believe how quickly this summer's gone. It feels as if I've been here for 6 months, not just 2 and a half. My assigned girls are the cutest, I've really grown attached to them. Hi all! So, I left off in the last blog talking about my spider bite, so I'll start this one off with an update - the next morning it put me in hospital. The night before, I went back to the clinic for a check up, where they decided to stick a bunch of needles in me like some kind of pin cushion, which was as painful as hell and didn't work. It was still around the size of my fist when I woke up, so my supervisor sent me to the nearest medical centre that morn...

Hey all! So, another busy week has flown by and once again I realise I have a lot to update you on! Last Friday we had our first International staff night off, so we were taken to a small hotel about an hour from camp and ate dinner in Applebees - GREAT break from camp food! Of course that night was spent quietly in our bedrooms, sipping tea in our PJ's and reading our books...NAAT. Needless to say, we had a late one and some weren't feeling too hot the next da...

Me again! I know it's a while since I wrote the last blog, but I've been having to find a spare hour or two in the day to write it over the last week (which is hard enough as it is!), and for the last 2 days we've had "in village" where all staff and campers (kids) have to stay in their villages where there's no wifi. So I apologise now for the length it'll probs be to fill you in, but I'll try not to make it boring. It might be easier to start...
