I went clubbing for 3 consecutive nights starting on Thursday night. The Vdara concierge arranged a VIP pass for me for the Haze nightclub in Vdaras sister property across the road, the Aria. I walk in for free as long as i went in between 10.30 and midnight, and no waiting in queues. Americans call them lines, they don't use the word queue. Concierge said dress codes usually mean shoes and a collar, and trousers are preferred over jeans.

The club got quite busy just after midnight, and it didn't look like the dress code was enforced too closely. I wore jeans to all the clubs but wore a shirt or polo shirt.

Haze was really cool. A vodka and soda set me back $14. I think I eventually left around 3.30am.

Next night was at the Bank, Bellagios nightclub. Every property has its own nightclub. Again, I got a VIP pass and free entry but I had to wait 5-10 minutes to enter. This club is not as nice as Haze. They have VIP booths on the dance floor making it too small and crowded. Lots of space upstairs though. Didn't really like this club and after I left the dance floor, I didn't go back down. I left relatively early, between 2 and 2.30am.

Third night was at the Caesars Palace nightclub, PURE. I was on the guest list so I had to wait 30-40 minutes to get in ahead of the rest of the crowd, and pay a discounted entrance fee of $20. Vodka and soda costs $11 here. The club had 3 dance floors. One was rap/hip hop. The second was dance/hip hop. The third was techno and not very busy. This club was quite cool and people including some guys dressed up for this club. Had a good time and eventually got back to my room around 3.30am.
I was so tired that I would get back to my hotel room around 3pm each day and have an afternoon nap.

The Americans seem to love rap/hip hop. The lyrics are shockingly rude, vulgar, profanity laced and about sex. They do not play these songs on the radio but everyone in the clubs can sing along to the lyrics. One of the favorite dance moves to these songs is for a lady to bend over and rub her behind all over a guys crotch.
