Hi Happy Campers! Are you intrepid or not - communal campsite showers. Sue, you are letting me down, there's no need to go THAT far. Have you got dread-locks as well? Loved the photos of the k.....s, we resisted the urge to put it up in the pub! And I even remembered that this is a PUBLIC message board and everyone can read it, so I didn't actually type knickers!
Anyway, we really hope the rest of the RV experience is as hoped and glad the sun is still shining for you. We are off to Germany next week, then when we return you will be back here in Leighton. Can't believe the time has gone so quickly. Looking forward to seeing you again and maybe then we'll see those photos! Have Fun.

Hi Everyone
It really is good to hear from you all. Sue wan'ts everyone to know that she is intrepid! She also wants you all to know that she gets up early every morning to use the camp showers. Tomorrow is going to be interesting as the loos and the shower blocks are unisex! Other than this the camp site here at Te Anau is excellant and deserves it's 5 star rating. We are off on a full day coach and crusise into the Doubtful Sound . All the photos that we have seen of it are amazing. Let's just hope that the weather holds out as it's still lovely and sunny but gradually it is getting cooler the further we go South and West. As Sue wants to be intrepid she insists that we both still wear our shorts (If the truth be known we didn't bring much else). Will write again soon. By the way Julie why has it been a great week for Liverpool? We don't get any world news here. Just thought on.... I 'll have a look on the web. Stupid boy!

Yo! Bro & Sue,
Well I lost your message board info in my e-mail files, but I've found it again!
Sounds like you've been having a ball, except for your last message about the windscreen. At least no one was hurt I hope. Glad to hear you like having the motorhome - Is Sue coping with all that camping rough stuff?
We've just got back from a weeks holiday, visiting all the kids in Newcastle, Nottingham, Merseyside and Marg's brother in Alicante, Spain. Suprising what you can cram into a week! Anyway we're both back at work now for some recuperation!
I know it sounds funny, but I enjoyed going to Uncle Bill's funeral and meeting all our cousins again. Uncle Bill would have been pleased to see such a gathering. Cousin Steve started telling me about his favourite bottle of beer and promised to send me the label so I could source it. A couple of days later, a package arrived - he had forgotten to take the bottle off the label! Anyway I thought I may as well drink the contents, rather than send it back. Steve also said in a later e-mail that he would like to visit us in the summer as it would be nice to come to us in the Cotswolds because they had taken their honeymoon there. Geography doesn't seem to be a Morris strength.
Everybody's well in the northern branch of the family and Jenny is getting quite big now (baby is due 11th May).
Look forward to seeing you when you get back. Who knows, you may even have some fabled photos to show people.
Lots of love and take care

Hello Everyone,
We are now into Campervan mode and after a very shaky start we are now getting used to it...even Mum!
Things didn't start too well as we had only been on the road for about 2 hours, when some youths, we think, who were travelling in the opposite direction in a low lying sports saloon, threw a missile at the camper windscreen. Quite badly damaged the screen and obviously shocked both Mum and I. Spent the next two days trying to contact people to get it fixed. Yet another trip to the police station to get another incident number for insurance. getting to know all of the police stations in the area. Today is Monday and we are in Wanaka the sun is shining and we are on a super site, surrounded by snow capped mountains and looking over the bluest lake ever. All is good.
Well done on the dancing Megan. Rhys get stuck into that studying. How is the fitness regime doing Liam? What are you up to Ellie? Hope that the Edwards's are now fit and well. How is the dieting doing...ours is lost in the mountains with the bacon butties for breakfast every morning! Off to Queenstown area tomorrow followed by trip to Te Anau and Milford Sound. Can't sort out the photo side of this web site. Will write again soon.
Love to all

Hello Everyone,
We have had lovely two nights at Emily and Peter's in Christchurch. They really did make us feel at home and took us around the area in the car as unfortunately it was`raining most of the day (prepareparing us for the camping bit today) but we had a great day and plenty of laughs! We are setting off to pick up the RV this morning and start off on our next little part of the adventure. Mum can't wait! I am going to try and upload some photos but don't be surprised if you don't find any.

Really good to speak to you on Saturday, it sounded like you were just next door! We ate way too much chinese and the kids played rummikub. Nan seemed really well. Steve and Sarah couldn't make it but are now just about ready to take the cross off their front door!
Rhys is doing his mock SATS at the moment and I'd love to say he's working really hard revising, but he's not! He seems to think having the telly on whilst being on MSn but having a book open qualifies!
Both boys are having a good run with their football and Liam's challenged himself to get fitter and faster, but it was pancake day yesterday and leftover batter today, but obviously that doesn't count!
We all send our love and can't wait to see you

Hi Again,
We did find somewhere exceptionally nice and decided to stay for 4 nights. We are at The Raumati Sands Resort Motel at Raumati funnily enough! It is near Paraparaumu about 45mins from Wellington. It is only about 52 pounds per night and it has everything, spa, pool, three balconys, two bedrooms, bathroom, two loos, living room, dining room, kitchen and a terrific view of the mountain. It was just what we needed, after the last couple of days trying to find accommodation. By the way the sun is shining too! May go into Wellington by train today.Hope everyone is keeping well back home and Sarah and Mia are on the road to recovery. Will e-mail again soon.
Love

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to Tony and Lee for a great stopover in Hamilton. It was fantastic to see you both after so long. We should have taken you up on your offer of some more nights with you because we have had hell on wheels finding accommodtion. This apparently due to either Road Races, Cycling Races, Rugby, or Motor Racing! These appeard to be happening everywhere we were heading to. Ended up with the last two beds in a 100km area at Levin. It was either staying in this shed (literally) or sleeping in the car. We really are intreid travellers. The camp site was squeeky clean though. Tony and Lee , you will be proud of us, as we ate in the Levin RSA last night...very good too. On our way towards Wellington but we hope to find somewhere nice to stay close to the beach and perhaps do some fishing.
Really pleased ....not! ....To hear that Sue and I are back on the committee. I'll sort you out Tim when we get home.
Speak to you soon

HI folks
Great to hear you're having such a superb time. Leighton much as before, weather fine but cool today. Had Social Committee AGM; Peter got trapped on the continent so Sue is now full time catering manager and Ken we made you chairman; that was what you said wasn't it?
Nothing else to report
