Now arrived at Calgary. Have dropped off the RV and are checked into the hotel. Just about to have a swim in the pool (still in pain after the mountain hike). Fly home tomorrow.what an awesome holiday this has been.

Today was painful. Got up early and went wildlife watching. Saw a small herd of Mule deer, mum, two babies and a couple of teenagers. Had breakfast overlooking a lake and then headed off up Sulphur Mountain in a gondola. Decided to walk back down. The thighs and calves will never be the same again. Jumped straight back into the hot springs, 39• of pure luxury. Moving on towards Calgary now, very sad as we have to hand the RV (our home for two weeks) back in whe...

Arrived at Banff this afternoon. Had a look round the town and the sights and then went to the hot springs. Sat there watching the sunset over the mountains and didn't come away until it was dark. Don't know what the temperature was but this was bed attire last night. All the water and toilet outlets were frozen. Quite an experience really to think we had been sat in an outdoor pool in it all.

Lake louise is renowned for being scenic and pretty but to be honest there are lots of lakes and mountains That are just as pretty. Couldn't find a campsite last night, called for fuel and asked there. Didn't know till now a lot of the garages and motels take RV's for the night - no charge so felt obliged to visit the pub and buy a meal/bottle of wine to put something back into the community - well it would have been rude not to wouldn't it?

Glacier as thick as the Eiffel tower is tall so there's no chance of this ice cracking. Travelled out on the specialized ice vehicle with Tyres measuring 5 feet tall and costing £50,000 each. Traveling south again now not sure where we are stopping tonight.
