Well I had the best night's sleep of the trip after the long trip from Lizard, the peace and tranquility of the bay at Low Isles. Another lazy start to the day and then a trip in the kayak to the island for a walk around followed by more food and drinks while doing more relaxing pretty well summed up our day.
The next day was pretty much a carbon copy of the first, except for Linda and Lyndy who walked across the reef at low tide only to see a huge live Baler shell, two Octopus, two turtles and Linda's favorite a rather too friendly sea snake that swam between her legs. That got the heart rate up a little!!
Nick spent most of the day in the galley making bread, pizzas Calamari, bar-b-q Tiger prawns and much much more washed down by all sorts of beverages including cocktails made by Nick.
At the end of the day we prepared the boat for our return trip to Port.
An early start (6.00am) and we were off and sailing back to Port Douglas in the rain. Fortunately the rain soon stopped and the clouds lifted to let the sun through for a perfect day for Linda's birthday. After breakfast aboard Katsumi in the marina Linda opened presents before enjoying a long hot shower and hair wash with no water rationing!!! A very happy birthday girl appeared much later but in plenty of time to get ready for her birthday lunch date.
Time to head off to the restaurant now
