Well since I've last checked in, I've been to the hotsprings in Banff, which was hot. The springs were outside in the midle of the mountains and the air temperature was like -17oc and inside the springs it was +40oc! We stayed there for around an hour until we were wrinkled like prunes!
It was around 8pm when we got out and went into Banff town, we were gonna go and get some shopping done but instead we went to a mexican restaurant and drank and ate which was good then this drunk Candian guy called renee (as in Zellwegger) started buying us shots and drinks and wanted us to teach him to snowboard! It was damn funny, we finished our meal at 10ish or something and stumbled to a club with our drunk friend, we stayed at the club with him for ages smoking cigars and then we ditched him.

The next day we went snowboarding and it was our last day so we went for some harder runs. Some were so hard it was unbelievable! Especially for a beginner, Toppy couldn't wear his glasses in case they fell off, and he couldn't see so he ended up going down a black run!

We had a load of snow recently so we could go flat out down a hill and not have to worry about falling over coz the snow would save our sore arses!




The next day we went out to Banff town to do some shopping, just to get a few things, like postcards and stuff. I bought a canadian t-shirt and some photos of the rockies. To say thankyou for he guys that we have statyed with we decided to cook a good ol' english dinner, we cooked 2 joints of beef for about 18 people it was awesome! The Canadians, didnt know what yorkshire puddings were and thought they were called scones... All the english people that we cooked for loved it coz they havent had a sunday roast in 4 months! So, it went down pretty well!

I'm starting to speak canadian now i keep sayin eh at the end of my sentences! canada rocks so much i definatly want to come back to this place. All the people are cool the snow is cool and it has some awesome views!

This will be the last time I check in before I get to L.A i think. Tomorrow we are going to Calgary and spending a day there just to do some shopping and stuff. Then we have our flight on monday morning at 7am, so we have to be there are 5am and leave the hostel at 3.30am... ugh! I'll probably check back in L.A or maybe Fiji depending on what we ae doing....
