We were tired on our second night so didn't want to stray far from the hotel, deciding instead to maybe find a shop and buy some food to eat back in our room. So, more confident in knowing where we were going we started walking...and walking...and walking.Shoe shops yes, clothes shops yes, machinery part shops yes...food shops or restaurants...no.We decided to head back to the hotel and Maria muttered those immortal words 'Allah will guide us, you'll see'.Anyway, instead of retracing our steps I decided to go straight instead of turning right and there, on the end of the street, was a delightfully trendy place called Cafe D'Alep. They served delicious sandwiches, salami and hotdog being our choice, and the most incredible freshly made juices with the most incredible flavour; the mango and strawberry were just divine. And, because we were scared we'd starve to death if couldn't find anywhere else to eat, we topped off the main course with dessert of the most gooey, chocolaty crepes this side of chocolate heaven...yummy, yummy, yummy - what a treat. Now, I'm not saying I'm a religious chap or anything but as a result of our 'Godly' intervention I have just submitted my enrolment for Qur'an school.
