Firstly, before I reached Sydney, I went to Surf Camp between Byron Bay and Sydney, where I spent the night and during the afternoon I had a good 3 hour surf until the sun went down, rode a few waves, actually standing on the board until the wave stopped!
So the next day we had an 8 hour trip to Sydney, bit of a grueller! So I had an early night before meeting with Josh the next day after he got back from New Zealand. We walked around Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, as well as the Rocks, where the original convicts built their settlements in Sydney. After a good days walking we had a good nights sleep before I headed to the Blue Mountains after I skanked a free trip after a bit of a Mess up by OzExperience which benefitted myself. Beautiful scenery seen that day with lots of Aboriginal history aswell.
That night, ourselves and Angus got some cheap rugby tickets through Angus' contacts, so we saw the New South Wales Waratahs vs Queensland Reds in a 26-13 win for the Waratahs. We went out that night after due to it being Angus' last night in Australia and with us for a while!
The next couple of days were quite lazy with a few more walks around the city getting ready to go to Melbourne and a couple more nights out on the town. Actually bumped into Gemma Rix and Matt Ware so had a couple drinks with them, before we flew to Melbourne the next day.
