Okay, now that i have a little bit more time, i'll tell you whats happening so far.
SO, turns out i still have a pretty thick accent, it gets me mad when they dont understand me haha well not that bad but its kinda funny.
We got in to Tuauranga around noon, and after we settled in we went to venture out to find the beach. We jump onto a bus and then we get off at the first beach we see. In my mind the beach was going to be huge and beautiful, the beach we found was small and not what we had in mind. We still went in and had fun. Then we wanted to find the beach from the pictures, so we walked and we found it!
It was the most beautifulest place ever. We sat by the ocean for a little while and then we looked for a place to eat. (this is where i was sunburnt, i have a tan mark of an X on my back because of my stupid shirt). We found this cute little Mexican resturant and it was soooo yummy.
The people in the small towns are so much nicer then they are in the city. Once they here our accent, they turn really hospitable. So after we ate we took a cab back to our hostle bc it turns out the buses stop running at 5pm.
Then we woke up this morning, bought our bus tickets, found a place to stay in Rotorua and then we headed off to the beach again...this time the beautiful one.
I could totally see why people were at the other beach, the waves dont kick your ass there like they do at the ocean. We got there and it was cloudy and the water was cold, so we walked up and down the beach looking for seashells, then we played in the sand and made big holes and burried our seashells that we didnt want haha. I could totally see why kids like playing in the sand .We felt like two year olds.
Then we went in the ocean because the sun came out. The waves beat the s*** out of me haha. I got hit so hard by a wave that my sunglasses went flying off my face and i lost them =( They were my favorite. So after that i was sad, so we left the ocean and came back to our hostle. We ate and chilled out.
Its cute, our hostle is above shops on Davenport Road. I like the location of it. But thats all for now, i'll write more about my RotoVegas adventures. When the dude told us that i was like "ooooooh, i think i'm going ot like RotoVegas" haha, i'm excited!
I'm having fun and am safe. I'll write more later.
Peace love and bannock grease!
