So, this is it! Flights are booked, bags are sorted (and nearly packed!), first few nights accomodation is booked, we both feel like pin cushions and the countdown now begins!!!

Myself, Stevie and the other half Matthew have both handed in our notices and taken the huge decision to tour the world, well some of it, before we have to grow up and be proper adults!!

The plan is to arrive in Bangkok from Heathrow after an 11hr 30 minute flight and head to the renowned backpacker hangout that is Khao San Road where we plan to adjust to the heat and time difference before exploring the Central and North of Thailand, then Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and back to the South of Thailand. Then we plan to head to Singapore before travelling through Indonesia to Bali where we will catch a flight to Perth, Australia. Then plan to spend time in Oz before heading to the South of New Zealand and finishing up with 2 weeks in Fiji.

The whole trip we've scheduled to do in about 9 months with a budget of about £17k and will attempt to keep some sort of record of our adventures, tips and budget spends on here for family, friends and others thinking of exploring!
