Arrived in Walpole 1st October and decided to have a few extra days at Walpole Lodge. Thanks to Steele and Julie for making us very welcome. Great place and location. We are going to use it as a base and continue walking the track as best we can with the injuries we have currently. Bberlaine and I walked about 15km today south of Walpole and checked out the valley of the giants tree top walk on the way back. Beautiful countryside and the weather is being a bit kinder to us. Leg still not 100% will keep doing what I can. Missing the family can't wait to see Lisa and the boys in Albany.
