Hi Steve
You must be having a mid life end all crisis to have embarked on this great adventure. Loving the blog and stuff on Facebook. Decided I'm definitely too mature for this backpacking stuff - though I'm off to New Zealand and Oz shortly but only for 3 weeks, and its hotels. Keep safe, Jayne

Hi Steve
Sounds like your having a real experience! Very jealous about Japan as this is where I would love to visit! Think I would leave out McD's though! Life in Norfolk very busy your new niece\nephew due in just 10 days so wherever you are in the world on the 30th have a drink and think of me!! Luv from the Norfolk Marjots XXXX

Steve,
I've just been catching up on your antics and I must say its really brightened up a miserable Saturday morning here in Bournemouth. It sounds like you've been through the mill a bit. Africa, I must say sounds a mare, getting injured and robbed is kind of what I expected might happen to you. The rest of it sounds more up your street and the great wall and the forbidden city must have been fab. As for the McDonalds story - come on, come clean - that's gotta be the worst excuse I've ever heard for eating junk food. You just put that in for your kids so that they wouldn't think it was OK to live on McD's :-)
Keep up the blog and remember to enjoy every bit of it - even the camp toilets, roberries, injuries, scary Yakuza men in the sauna, ya de ya de...... I look forward eagerly to the next thrilling instalment of Steve 'Coogan' Marjot's Ripping Yarns. Next time I want to hear about recovering stolen diamonds, wrestling Kangaroos, sharks etc.... - oh yes and any interesting Thailand stories.
Take care my friend.

Hi Steve,
the loos look inspiring, slightly better than the Stockley Park ones. I think I'll put one in the wood at the bottom of the garden so you feel at home next time you visit :-) Keep up the blog, its great to hear your ramblings and see the amazing pictures. Feel inspired and enjoy the ride, its 4 degrees and grey here in Bournemouth today :-)

Hi Steve
Looks like you are having a ball. When you next get on the net can you let me know which country you are flying in from! Makes it easer to check arrival times. Watch out for the cross winds on landing at Perth, they can make final approach very very interesting!
