That's the swimming done! These swims were all PB's for me...well this year anyway. At least I did better times than I entered, but nowhere near the medals. Unexpected was the relay swim - 4x50m free - we came 5th. Good to meet up with Barnet Copthal friends again (who are desparate to get me to swim in a full skin suit! Not likely. Freo must be the cafe capital of Western Aus. Never drunk so much cappuccino & flat white. We've been eating out for about a month now , but still a few more restaurants to try out. Tom - you must be mad to do the London Marathon again next year. Good luck! Lucy - Well done with dissertation. Good results! Only 1 day of placement to go. Hope you've enjoyed it. M&D - hope you enjoyed Spain. Hope everyone got their postcards & you are all well. Great beach walk this afternoon - now we're off to watch the sunset. Love Steve & Celia xx

Gudday all! Well we're half way through the big trip and being upside down for this long makes the blood rush to your head! The investigation into water flowing down the plug-hole the wrong way continues! An 'awsome' adventure! Many many photos and sore feet to prove it! Highlights so far - mist on Hong Kong's peak and the fish stalls on the street markets, views of Sydney harbour bridge and Opera house, the welcome and hospitality of everyone in Tantawangalo (you wouldn't believe how much we've learnt about dairy farming), Canberra and now in Adelaide, the open countryside, the amount of 'gum' trees, vinyards, and magnificent open long golden or white sandy beaces with hardly anyone on them and 'beaut' weather about 25 degrees today need I say more? Do you get the idea we're enjoying ourselves. Writing this on Jim and Fulvia's computer, who have given us a fantastic welcome, while Steve is having a swim with Adelaide masters, who train at a new pool in one of the top fee-paying schools in Oz. No Ray Mears moments yet but farm life is..... shall we say interesting!!! No red-backs snakes or scopions yet, but plenty of cows, kangaroos and dogs! Well, my chilled Sauvignon Blanc awaits......hope you are all well! I'll try to add photos. Lots of love to you all Steve and Celia xx
Tom
Bill Bryson-esque anecdotes and Ray Mears-type tails of extreme survival... Too busy in the sunshine to sit in front of a computer. Shocker! Hope you taking a ton of pics! Lots of love Tom
