GHi guys!

Today i arrived in bay of islands, a region in the north of Nz that includes about 144 islands!

I decided to stay in Paihia, a small town but very famous around the backpackers.. it seems like a perfcet base to explore all the regione, in fact in packed of hostels and guys from all over the world.

I knew that there was a friend of mine from Netherlands who i met in Auckland the first days, so i joined her for lunch. It was nice meet her again cos we had great conversations about what we did and what we are going to do!

After that i came back to the hostel and due to the weather that was not so good i opted to hike a track in the middle of Opua forest, up to the lookout. I reached the top in around one hour and i enjoyed the view on almost all the region.

Coming back to the hostel i met my new roommates: one is from belgium, the other one from BERMUDA! such a weird place!!!

We were all keen for a beer so we joined two girls (that i met in the hostel in Whangarei) at a pub here in Paihia and drank a couple of "golden beers".

I think we are going to become good friends with these guys!

Tomorrow tha plan is to explore URUPUKAPUKA ISLAND!
