Really liked the pictures of the park. Why are the trees cut off at the top? Ahh roaches! I second your opinions. I think God created roaches and then discovered he couldn't get rid of them either! Don't forget, use the heel of the shoe :)

I am blown away by this blog and your journal entries and the pictures, and WOW! Jean-thank you for sharing. And Steph-WOW. I know we don't have a relationship but I get the updates as a relative on this list:) and I am very proud of you. How wonderful for you to have such an incredible experience. You are so smart and so blessed to have such a gift of appreciating medicine. I look forward to reading more. And wash your hands - ugh! The whole concept of sanitation there gives me the willies! Stay healthy and safe - Hugs to you from Houston - Michelle & Leanna

Hi again, ok, this is my third attempt.
Loving your pics; they just got the web site fixed and now I could see everything. Especially of the surgury. Whoa!
You and Rachel look good! how are you two surviving with the food? is it different in the rural areas compared to the city?
Can't tell you how much we love your pictures. To see them so near the time you have been there. Very exciting.
Love you lots. Keep taking care of you and Rachel. If don't get your number in the next few days, I will give you a call.
Just FYI....shared your link with relatives.
Again, love you LOTS xOO
Mom :)

I am so excited for you! What a experience you are getting! Glad you are able to keep us so updated. I really enjoyed the surgery pictures. They are awesom! It is funny that you mentioned the abundance of honks because that was exactly how is was when I was in Ecuador. They were maniacs on the road, but somehow the constant honking (especially cute short honks) helped communicate as they swerved in and out of lanes. Anyway! Talk to you soon! I'm sending you something once I find your address. I think it is somewhere on here.
