Booked a ticket to Chongqin today which is a starting point for the Three gorges dam on the River Yangzi (research it, it's massive)

arrived at the train station with a ticket but didnt know where the hell i was going or anything. I couldnt understand any of the writing. I went to the English counter but they said my train had left and i needed to buy a new ticked...I still had 30 mins left. She then accused me of finding the ticket!!

She took it off me and thats when i thought..i might actualkly miss my train. I was explaining that I needed to find that platform and it was my ticket. All of a sudden a young lad came out of no where and offered to help. I was sceptical because of all the scamming that had gone on but I agreed for him to assist me.

He told me to follow him...he even took my bag of fruit off me as i had my big mental ruck sack on and bumping into everyone. by the way ...eat fruit!!!

He found my train for me with 10 mins spare...thank God for him. He did it for no benefit yo himself which i appreciated. If it wasnt for him i may have missed the train.

I shared a 4 bedded booth with three other men..we couldnt nunderstand a word we were saying. In the whole 24 hour journey...I think i managed to tell them my name and where i was from..and where i was going...yep it was a great 24hour conversation!!

spending 24hours on a train seems like a piece of cake. I used to get anooyed at a 5 hour bus drive from lnmodon to manchester.
