Arrived in Split after two relaxing days with Chrissie and Rick, although the champagne and wine took a bashing on Sunday. Somehow we managed to find our hotel here in Split and what a view from the window! We face out to the Harbour and the Adriatic beyond. Split is a great place with not too many tourists but may be different in July and August. Wandered around the old city and did the usual tourist things but a bit hot to go too far. Had an early dinner and early night as have been up since 4 to fly out of Stansted.
