I dont know if it is from watching too much Glee or just the sheer boredom of studying french contract law but I swear I saw two girls in the library this week who looked just like Artie from Glee... less the wheelchair... Also when people starting entering the library and whispering and I realised I had my fingers crossed for a flash mob glee style... I left the library quickly and went swimming instead. So what I didnt mention in my last post was, after spending the day taking in more local history, on my walk home from subway I managed to stumble across a market! (how do these things happen to me!) As you can see from my photos, it was set in an empty church and was a sale of local artisans work. I was very restrained and bought only a fairy for my christmas tree... Mostly because the ornaments I liked the look of cost between £150 and £200! I am a student...

On saturday, my friend's fiance was back again so this meant another day trip. This day trip had an american theme. We visited a town called Saint Mere Eglise, a town famous for WWII. Many parachutists were dropped around this area and one american trooper got stuck on the church spire for two days (he played dead but was subsequently captured) where his parachute remains to this day! I have a cold. I am never ill. (Stuart will verify) I am in the middle of three days off uni. (It never happens when I am at work) I am bored. It is pants. You see here it is cold and rainy, I am sure pretty much the same as elsewhere but it is even more so in this old house. I have put up some pictures today of the house which, as I have said, is lovely and very french but as I was informed the other night "even with the heating on it doesnt really warm up...

...my new "hobby"! Like splashing round in puddles for grown ups! though, as you can see from my photo... maybe I neednt bother today as it is absolutely chucking it down here! Also despite my best efforts I still dont have any waterproof shoes! Three new pairs perhaps... none of which are waterproof! À la prochaine x
