Double Deckers, Red Phone Booths, Big Ben, Blue Doors and the Eye awaited me!
Our final day on the bus was a biggy! After an early start we arrived in Brugge for waffles, hot chocolate and more chocolate. Hot chocolates are actually hot milk with a lump of chocolate melted within it!! Unfortunately we had crap traffic coming out of Amsterdam which cut into our time in Brugge and didn't allow us enough time to try the real local delicacy, mussels with chips- it would have been amazing :)
We arrived in Calais in time and boarded our massive P&O Vessel back to Dover. The trip back to London took 5 hours from France, as we boarded a bus on the other end which dropped me off right outside my accommodation for the night.
It was really strange saying goodbye to so many new friends. After 28 days, spending a good 16 hours a day with everyone its amazing how many people you get to know really well. I see many flights across Australia and NZ coming up in the next 12 months! To Andrew, Kate, Andrew, Morgan, Elise, Steve, Renae, Dave, Liz, Shelly - thankyou for making my own Discovery Tour so memorable!! To Fi and Brian our amazing TopDeck Crew, you both were both so helpful, full of information, fantastic local things to try and experience and setting me up for my final trip through England and Scotland once again solo! You guys were great!
Onwards to Scotland!
