02.10.10 noch 48 Stunden bis zum Abflug!

only 48 hours left in Europe!

Am Samstagmorgen, 02.10.10, hieß es dann mal wieder Abschied nehmen und dieses Mal von meinen Eltern, meinem ältesten Bruder, seiner Frau und den Kindern.

Saturday morning, 02.10.10 I finally had to say Good Bye to my parents and my brother and his family....which was for sure not easy and sad!

Mit dem Zug ging es dann nach Itzehoe zu Andreas und Tina. Die Beiden habe ich auf meiner letzten großen Reise durchAustralien kennengelernt. Sie leben jetzt mit Ihren beiden Söhnen Kieron und Milas in Itzehoe bei Hamburg. Abends haben wir dann nach einem netten Dinner und einem Glas Wein über alte Zeiten in Australien geplaudert und durch Berge von Fotos gestöbert. Ach was war das nett!

I took the train to Itzehoe which is close to Hamburg where I was invited to stay with my friends Andreas and Tina. They are too very close friends who I met 10 years ago in Australia. Tina cooked a very delicious last German dinner for me and later on the three of us went through the photo albums from Australia and chatted about the good old time and all of our adventures over there.

Nach vier Stunden Schlaf hat Andreas mich dann morgens um vier Uhr nach Hamburg zum Flughafen gebracht, von wo aus ich nach Amsterdam geflogen bin. Noch mal ganz lieben Dank an Euch für die nette nur leider viel zu kurze Unterkunft und den „shuttle" zum Flughafen!

After only four hours sleep, Andreas drove me to the airport in Hamburg from where I flew to Amsterdam. Thanks a mill to Andreas and Tina for the last enjoyable 48 hours in Germany and the "shuttle" to the airport!
