Hello! I'm currently lying on a train in a little bunk bed thing! It's well thin and feels pretty high!
I have now joined my tour group and we are just leaving Bangkok. There is about 15 of us all together and everyone is nice! I have been spending alot if time with the girl I am sharing rooms with called charley, and we made friends with an Irish guy called Connor, an english guy called dan, and a girl called nicky from Canada.
So yesterday I caught my flight to Bangkok and it was pretty stressful because it was delayed and they kept changing the gate number! After I took off it was so much easier it was only an hour and I just slept!
From the airport I got a taxi to the hotel where the tour group was meeting called bangkok centre hotel it was nice and after a week of sleeping on a hard mattress and washing in sandy showers I was excited to see the room!
We had a group meeting at 6 were we met everyone which was good we went through the trip details and then all went for a meal together! We caught a tuk tuk there my first experience and it was fun!!
The meal was good and after we all went for drinks which were cocktails in buckets they were unbelievably tasty and strong so after a few I was happy to go home (after a quick stop in /711 - my new favourite shop) as soon as I got into the bed I passed out and didn't wake until it was time for breakfast it was the best night sleep so far!
Today we decided to meet in the lobby at half 10 to take a boat trip, the 5 of us got two tuk tuks to the river we got a whole long tail boat to ourselfs for 300 baht each a bargain.
The tour lasted an hour and in that time we saw the slums, skyscrapers posh apartments, fish that were over a foot long, people washing dishes in the river, huge temples, people washing in the river and a lizard that was about 5 foot long!!!!! Ewwwwwww
After we finished the tour we had a walk round but got totally lost and ended up going in circles!! A nice lady stopped and gave us directions to the nearest mall. It was just designer clothes and bags ect so we decided to re-group in McDonald.
After half an hour of trying to find our way on a map we gave up and just started walking that didn't work either so we got another tuk tuk to MGK which is a massive mall with markets we didn't fancy buying anything so we got stuck again wondering in no particular direction.
It's really weird they have big boxing rings all over the place I guess Thai boxing is massive in Bangkok.
We gave up and went back to the hotel via tuk tuk now pros at being sardines we all got into one actually hilarious because dan split his pants and people were pointing and laughing!
We got back to the hotel and didn't really do anything till 6 when we left for the train station it was nicer than I expected and the train is great! Little bunk-beds right the way down so I'm all tucked up ready for my over night travel!
Tomorrow we are going to krabi which is a little island it's ment to have beautiful beaches! I cant wait!
Bye everyone xx
Ps yesterday I had pad tai for tea and no lunch and breakfast because I didn't have time today I have had toast for breky, chicken sandwich from McDonalds/mc thai for lunch and tea I have chicken fried rice with basil from the street food very very nice!
