Hi guys,

The past few weeks have been pretty hard on me as I heard that my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and cause Ashley had left Australia with respect to the death of his granddad. Although my parents were planning to go to Sydney we decided thaty it would be best if I would go to Holland myself.

I heard the news last Wednesday and before I knew it, I was flying back, Business Class, arriving on Friday.

After a flight of 24 hours I arrived home!! It felt really good to see my mum & dad, brothers and of course my friends. It felt as if I had never left the Netherlands and if nothing had changed. My best friend, Just, standing in front of the porch every single day; my close friendship with kimmie proceeded as if I had spoken to her every single day (10 phone calls per day?? thanks baby!!). I have even visited my soccer club already.

Despite of everything, I can't wait to continue my travels again and get my tan back in sunny Australia.
