So Slovenia is my country of choice, still undiscovered yet becoming increasingly developed - it lies to the East of Italy, to the North of Croatia, it's South of Austria and West of Hungary.

The best thing about its capital city, LJUBLJANA, is how central it is and therefore close to all parts of the country. City life is here, within a short time you can be on the beach on the Amalfi Coast near Italy. To the North I can be skiing in the ski areas of the Julian Alps in ski resorts like Vogel, Rovinj as well as more well known ones such as Bled. I think Vogel was my favourite although I only got to spend a couple of days in each... so far that will change this ski season!

Slovenia is known for its sweet wines, but also for its thermal waters with healing properties - so it's not surprising that there are so many thermal spa centres and spa areas in this small country. Blissful relaxation in the East of the country with spa treatments and massages galore.

I'm open to suggestions for smaller towns which should be visited while in Slovenia and some Exciting Adventures - any ideas let me know.
