wee wee Pariiii. The city of lights

Paris was cool, besides smelling like urine, it was a cool place. And yes what they say about French people being rude, yeh they are! When we got off the plane we caught the train into town and tryed to find our hostel. We asked for direction and after 45min of walking with our backpacks weighting 16 and 14kg. +our small back 2kg. we were starting to get grumpy. We were not only hearing in the worng direction we had done a complete loop. gurrrrr . Paris is so hard to get around. so many street on angles, it looks like the town planers design the road based it on a game of pick up sticks.

So after walking a good long walked past the train station which we first were, turned left and it was 56min up the raod.... lesson lurnt... dont after for direction,, just try reading the map and give it a go....

The 2nd day we were there we had our map, water and our snacks. we Walked , and walked and walked 20km and for 8hrs to be exact but we saw sooo much. Sacre coeur -an asome temple. Effel tower of course. we climbed the 688 stairs . such a great sight. so impressed. we saw the new paris and the Arc de triomphe - the structure built to represent how ''cool'' the Nepoleon was. no not Napoleon dinomite.

After a huge day , my feet hated me. we made paster and tomato sauce for dinner and died. The next morngin we werer up earlie to jumpon the bus to amsterdam, we had to walk 2.5km to the bus. BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,, when we got there we were informed that we had the wrong day and it was tomorrow... humm not so funny at 7.30am.. ah well so we booke din.. scamed a free breakfast and headed off around the city again but this time we jumped on the tube (train) and explored other sight. Catacombes - an underground, grave yard , where they stacked up bones and sculls. Yuck,, just wait for the pics.... We also went to the Louvre but it was closed.. but we walk through it so i guess i can still say i went there. hopefully when we go back there we can go their. Notre Dame was insance, it just blew me away, the huge stained glass windows were amazing. Humm what else did we see? ... cant remember.

We got back to the hostel and decided to have a few bevies and headed to the bar (in the hostel, really cool hostel may i add) afetr a few bevies met some more aussies and started a party in the night club down stairs where we recived free shots.... hahhahaah blah bal... got pissed, woke up in the moring at 7.30am to find then alarm wasnt set , hahhaha bummer and we had to be on the bus at 8am... wow u should of seen us go..... managed to stuff our facese before the 8hrs bus to AMSTERDAM.. AMSTERDAM.. ahahahahah
