Our European Travels

Welcome to our travel journal; we're looking forward to our trip to Europe. This is a "European History and Culture Sampler" sponsored by the Community Colleges for International Development. Our program will take place in Dover, England; Germany - the Rhine area, Rudesheim and Dresden; Prague, Czech Republic; France - Strasbourg, Rheims, the Champagne District, Paris and Versailles; and London, England. Patti DePlasco What a great trip! When you're in Rudesheim, be sure you try the Rudesheimer Coffee. Also when in Germany, try the spaghetti eis -- it's ice cream that looks just like spaghetti with sauce. There are also a lot of festivals going on this time of year. You are going to have a great time!

Lonnie George Have a great trip! Enjoy the sights,people,culture,food & each other! Stay safe & remember you are not in the US.Try the different food;try to speak at least some phrases in the native languages especially "please" & "thank you".Get out of your comfort zone...it will be fun & challenging...and be flexible...sometimes things don't go quite as planned...just go with the flow.Best regards,Lonnie
