Squirrel on tour
We are coming to an end of are 7week Australia tour, soon we will be opening another chapter, we fly to Fiji 8th May. Its crazy how quick it has gone.
Clairy Norm and Dan P peeps from uni are in town yippee :)
I have had a week in Sydney and I could easily stay here for longer. Despite the chilly weather giving me a cold I have loved being in a city and Sydney has alot to offer. It reminds me of London, it has a real cosmopolitan feel about it.
We have done the usual tourist things. The sky tower, walked along Sydney harbour bridge (would have loved to walk up it but its ridiculous how much they charge!!!). Visited a couple of Syders best beaches that would have been great if it wasn't for the freezing winds.
And for all you oldies out there, how cultured am I??? We went to Sydney Opera house to watch the Sydney Bohemia symphony!! Basically it was the only one we could afford....but surprisingly I really enjoyed it. I don't think im converted into the whole classical music scene but it was cool and at times amusing.
I would say 15% of the audience (who were all 50+!!!) fell asleep, and the crazy chicken dancing by the conductor tested my composure at times!!!
After are night out at the Opera house we went to the coolest bar ever. I mean cool!!! It was an ice bar. It was wicked, before you go in they give you ugg boots, gloves and coats to protect you from the - 11.8 temp. It was still freezing so the max time your allowed in there is 30min. Brrrrr.
