Today I checked out of the hostel at around 10am and ended up running into the Toronto girls again. We ended up walking around the city together. The city is very small so we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. At around 2pm we headed back to hostel and called a cab. We got to the train station around 330 and were able to get on a train to Antwerp right away. So that was cool. From Antwerp we took a train to Amsterdam. They were staying at a hostel on the beach, so at the main station we said our goodbyes. I just got back from exploring amsterdam a little. I am located in a very nice area of Amsterdam. The Marriott is right around the corner and the hostel is part of the Internationl Hostelling Network. So there are old and young people and families here. I am located across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe. I was able to walk around most of the city today. Again it is not a very large city, at the older part. The city is everything you read and see. It seemed like every corner I turned there was the smell of marijuana. Very interesting city. The canals are very nice. There is a lot of bike travel throughout the city. There is tons of public transit. I will try and post pictures tomorrow when I am in Germany.
