Last day in Moscow...so tired words can't express! Its offically a week today that I have been away...but it feels like a month.
Arrived here on the Trans Sib (my 1st encounter) and the cabin was like 5 star luxury...have been informed though that the next stage wont be so nice!eek....needless to say i'm not too excited about that! I was lucky to get a room with Emma, Tom and John who are on my trip...so no smelly russians in my room. It was only an overnight train...on it for 8 hours...still offically my longest journey (at the moment) on a train. The cabin has 4 beds, some storgae under the 2 bottom beds and a little table in the middle...you can only have 2 ppl standing at the same time.lol. Had a good nights sleep actually...bit of a surprise...very thankful i had my i-pod though.
We all went food shopping today for the next part of our trip, as the food is really expensive on the train...noddles and a loaf of bread for 4 days...yum yum!
Not as much to do in Moscow as St.Pete, but have managed to do everything you can do, The Red Square, GUM, The Kremlin etc. Have been quite adventurous with my food so far and its all quite nice....and no dodgy tummy...yay! Had a bit of a cold in the last few days and lost my voice...but i dont think its swine flu.lol
Looking forward to Lake Balkal and Mongolia...have loved Russia...but i wouldn't say it was worth coming back...keep dreaming of all the beaches to come...need a tan! At least on the train i'll get to sleep!
Have left all the places i have been to upstairs...so will update the finer details later.x
