I left for my trip to Venezuela. The moment I knew I was almost there was when I saw Caribbean Sea. It was such a great view from the plane. After I saw the sea, there was some mountains. These were the Andes Mountains. My plane landed, and I realized how diverse it is from the US. I knew that I would see some Venezuelan natives and also some Spanish and Africans.
Later in the day I went to a restaurant for dinner. The restarant was called Restaurant La Estancia. I soon discovered that the main language there is Spanish after hearing many people. The country is very diverse. It holds many different ethnic groups. I wasn't very hungry so all I ordered was some eggplant and potatoes. These are popular side dishes in Venezuela.
