Hi there, You may be wondering why there is a photo of me on crutches, I managed to break my ankle in february, whilst playing netball. that has meant four weeks off work so far, so no hussle and bussle of the city. Its not what i needed 12 weeks before I go off on my trip, but I am enjoying the time off. To cheer me up, mum took me to spain to visit friends near alicante for a few days. I have to say it does help, having a wheelchair and crutches, I got to go on the buggy through the airport, straight through customs, and passport control, and the best thing was, we got an upgrade to larger seats! it was a resting trip, but hard going when you are on crutches, Alicante is very hilly! But at least i got to see the sun, and at one point the temperature went up to 23 degrees, thats great for february. anyway had best go, got lots of planning for my trip to sort out. At least I get to save more money before my trip as i am not getting out and spending it!
