Hey there guys! This is the first entry on the blog - still a couple of days away from departure but chaos-reigns in the household as i try to unpack and re-pack for the trip. Got myself a few vaccum bags (thanks JML) to help squeeze in as many clothes as possible into the bags - the 30kg allowance is pretty measley but i'm hoping VAX power will help out!

Been choring as many scottish foodstuffs as i can before flying - need to get my fix! Buckfast in nice & sleaze's was the highlight (mental-mental dreams had afterwards) with mum cooking square-sausage rolls practically every morning too.. .

The nervous are kicking in - but all still healthy. I reckon they'll be at their worst come Sunday when i'm actually standing in the check-in queue. With any luck Smeato will be around to help save the day if need-be - though i've heard he has given up smoking now (bah!).. .

Away to pick up a Royal.India takeaway for dinner (yas!) - speak soon!
