Well where to begin. I guess I'll start from day three in Peru. After walking around and acquainting myself with the Miraflores area the second day I decided to go site seeing. I began day three (11/9) by walking to the hucana ruins in Miraflores. It was very interesting and gave me some insight into the progression of lima's civilizations. It was somewhat sad to know that the site had been more or less treated as a garbage site until the 80's, but the excavation...

Well I got through the day here in el districto de mariaflores en Lima. I got up around noon from my bunk in the condor house hostel, which is actually rather comfy. After a little refreshing I went out on the town. I wondered for around 3 horas along the stunning coast of Peru. Eventually I had a nice long sitting/grazing session in one of the gorgeous parks that seem to run the entire mariaflores area. I will be doing some museo viewing tomorrow and off course ...

Just landed here in Lima and arrived at the hostel. It has Bren a long day of anticipation and travels. For now I am just ready for rest and in the morning I will begin my quest through the city if kings.

For me being back on land has been a bitter sweet. I absolutely loved the experience and will definitely be partaking in future deliveries with Bruce. We left Maryland, my father and I, this afternoon and said our good byes to Bruce and potentially Tesoro.
