6 nautical miles away from our next gps waypoint and all is well. The day brought about overcast weather, but this was much appreciated after three rather consistent days of blazing sunshine. The wind has continued to blow from the south, varying east and west, yet the forecast suggests change on Saturday. As I glare down at the gps I notice all the marked wreckage sites. This makes me think of the old salty sailors who made this similar passage years past, and how much I can appreciate technology. Well the sea has laid many a person to rest and in a way it's a rather poetic way to go. !Vaya con dies!
