we left amsterdam today and drove to berlin. we rented a mercedes and hit the autobahn. it was awesome. I'll tell you why the autobahn works: europeans have great highway etiquette. there's no jackass going 50 mph staying in the left lane. everybody moves to the right as soon as they pass, even if nobody is behind them pushing. we were over 100 mph most of the time I think.
