Today we flew to Bali. Kuku dropped me and Nic off at the airport and Uncle Meng Heng dropped round to say hello and goodbye as he'd been on a fishing trip. We had some cake and coffee as we waited for the others. Then boarded etc. and off we went.

We landed in Bali couple hours later. We looked everywhere for a good hotel. The standard of the rooms was pretty bad even for a tenner a night. But we managed to find a really nice hotel with a lush pool and that for fifteen squid a night.

We had dinner at a nice little restaurant. Had a bit of a look around the street shops, saw some fake branded perfume, bought a Bintang beer beater and then headed back home before I spent too much of my monies. Kuta is a massive tourist trap and pretty expensive! You cannot walk down the road, without people being in your face trying to sell you mushrooms, clothes, tazers or massages. But I can't wait to check the beach tomorrow :). We had a midnight swim in the pool and a chillax before going to bed.
