So i am here! Arriving here was v tiring, long flight, crazy woman sat next to me and US immigration security did not appreciate that fact that i was just travelling around! After much stress i finally got to the hostel about 8pm and just went to my room and dumped stuff off. Downstairs theres an outdoor heated area and i met some cool people (so far from Quebec, Germany, Italy, UK, Seattle, Portland) and we created a team named Euronobs because we were all from Europe and we joined in the sex quiz which was a great ice breaker for my first night. Got free rum and coke and chilled out, turned out us Europeans are sex savvy so we won a bottle of champagne. Not bad for a first night in LA. Then i headed to bed, woke up at 6am and now im going to get some breakfast. Today i think i will wander around the area to get my bearings and maybe go on a bus to downtown LA with the shuttle but not sure yet. Tonight we are all drinking with free booze provided by hostel then everyone over 21 is going clubbing, shame for me but i can imagine i'll be knackered so as long as i chill out and socialise i'll be happy. it's nice and warm, don't need to wear coat or anything unlike in horrid UK!
