I've moved around since Tuesday and i am alot happier than i was in my previous post. I changed hostels in San Diego which made my stay so much better. The new hostel was so much more social and full of travellers which is what i wanted. On Wednesday i spent the whole day at San Diego zoo, seriously walked around for 6hours it was just huge. The animals were cute and its somewhere you have to go if youre in san diego. I spent the night drinking with people in the hostel but had a reasonably early night. Thursday was abit crazy, sorry Dad you aren't going to enjoy reading this...i went to Mexico, Tijuana infact which yes father was pretty scary. I was the only white girl walking down ther street, i looked very out of place with my hollywood shades and bright blonde bouff of hair. Anyway it was interesting to see a different culture for an afternoon and drink some margharitas and buy little things for like 90p. Getting into the Mexico was fine, you literally get the tram down and walk across the border, getting back however was not. We had to queue for ages and scan our passports/get searched/questioned about everything, there were so many people trying to get into the states. Weird. That night is was St Paddys day which is really celebrated in San Diego, the whole streets were closed off and it was just a nightime drinking street party with stages and loads of random stuff. It was really cool so again another night of drinking. Friday i explored San Diego on my own, went to a lovely area called Little Italy and bumped into loads of hostellers whilst i was strolling along which was nice. Saturday i came back to LA because i did everything i wanted to do in San Diego and i came back on the right night as last night i lived it up true hollywood style and went to a mansion party on the hollywood hills which was just so so good. Free bar, DJ, dancing, ahh it was just perfect, had a top night but am feeling it today obviously. Depressingly today is the first day the weather has been crap, its been raining all day so we have all had a lazy Sunday watching films in our sweatpants and recooperating for tonights session. This week it is obviously my last one in LA, my vacation will be over and ill actually start travelling around. Apparently there are plans for my birthday on Thursday which will be good, will be weird not spending it at home.
