Yes im still in Sydney. The past few days we have been drinking quite alot and doing the touristy bits such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Weds 02.07.08 it was our last night staying with Justina so we all headed to a Pub for dinner and to watch State of Origin play Rugby against QLD. Obviously we wern't really paying much attention to the game as we were drinking and eating.

Thursday 03.07.08 I spent most my day panicking about how all my stuff was going to fit back into my back pack! Finally, after much torture (for Rach & Jus) & debate I decided it was probably a good idea to box a few bits home already as I've brought far too much stuff. After I had finished flapping Rach & Myself headed over to a Backpackers Called WakeUP! on Pitt Street in the City Centre for our first night in a Hostel. We Checked in and wandered up to our rooms to dump our stuff then head off to the bar for a few. In our room were 2 Welsh girls, they seemed fairly chatty and friendly so we were pleased with that. A few drinks and hours later we wandered back to our room and settled in for the night. All was well until about 3am when these two Welsh birds turn up with two random men!!! Well I dont' think I need to tell you the rest do I!? Apart from the fact that neither of us had a wink of sleep and the beds were squeeking all night!!! I was not amused to say the least expecially when the dirty talk started! The word MORTIFIED was an understatement. So at 8am I was up and packing my stuff, Rach popped her head out from under the covers to see me mouth "We are out of here, NOW!!" We were so angry at the time but now we find it quite funny. We got moved rooms and we are now with a really good bunch of guys so all was well in the end.

Saturday 4.07.08 We headed down to Circular Quay to do the touristy thing and take pics of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Its not until you see them that you realise where you are and how far away from England you are. Rach & Myself both agreed that it still amazes you everytime you see it. We had lunch on the Quay with the wonderful view of the Opera House and Harbour bridge then headed back to WakeUP to FreshenUP. In the evening we went back to the Opera House to have a few drinks in the Opera Bar which is absolutly lovely. Lots of cocktails, Shots, Good music & great atmosphere.

Sunday 06.07.08 Rach, Jus, Louie, Pete, Lindon & Myself had a bit of an all day drinking session down at the Rocks. Rach, Jus & myself all took a lovely stumble back to the hostel afterwards only to find the guys in our room had left a little present for Rach on her bed. We called him/her Gordon. They had used our clothes and boots to make a scarecrow type man on her bed with a condom for a head (refer to photos).

Monday 07.07.08 Today we checked out of WakeUP and are heading off to the Snowy Mountains at 6pm tonight. We have spent it with Jus as it could be the last time we see her again for another year or so. She has just had her second year visa granted today also so it looks like shes staying for at least another year.
