Hi all,

just a quick entry to the blog this time as I'm running out of internet time! I am currently in Swakpmund having travelled up from cape town. Africa is truly amazing, the people, the culture everything about it! Our first day we spent touring the townships, this will truly always stay with me. Blew me away to see how these people lived and what lives they lead but yet are still so happy. It just seemed odd for them to be a mini tourist attraction, we're all there with our nice cameras whilst they live in huts it didn't really seem fair but they were getting money from each tour that sees them! The children were fantastic it was hard to not bring them all home!

The camp sites have all been really nice and only once have I had to face a long drop whilst in the desert...not the best experience ever I must say. The group is amazing, al the people are great! I've climbed so many dunes its stupid, it's such hard work I didn't think I would make it up Dune 45 to watch sun rise! You know that feeling after a day at the beach where everything is sandy? Well that is currently my whole bag I've also been canoeing down the orange river, apparently not my strong point as I spent most of the time in the reads and even fell in at the end !

I've also been quad biking throught the oldest desert in Africa and sand boarding at 72KPH stupidly scary but brilliant at the same time! I hope ur all well, miss you all, take care xxx
