So it has been a while since my last blog entry but thought i should posta little ofwhat i have been upto!
After leaving phi phi we headed for koh samui, our first stop was in a town called lamai, we stayed in a little budget hostel on our first night there iwoke up covered in bugs, i went mental and got us upgraded to a nicer room however last night there while in bed watching law and order (a must when hungover in thailand) a stinky cockroach crawled over my feet, i didnt sleep that much, still atleas there werent any spiders. our night out in lamai was rather interesting its a place for 60year old men to go have a sexy night with some thai ladies, i met a nice 60 year old man called alan and ended up talking to him for hours ha, he was a proper travelling hippie and thinks that england is one of the most corrupt places ever, he was scottish. While in lamai we got sucked into one of the jungle experience tours, we started our ay off being picked up in some banged up land rover with a very weird singaporian family sat in the back, just as we got going, there was a terrential storm and got absolutely soaked, we spent the day on elephants, chillingwith some tigers and seeing a mumified monk which i thought was pretty cool, sarah hated it. Swimming in a jungle waterfall was incredible but after seeing a spider in one ofthe rubber rings i got outta there pretty quick.
Anyway after lamai we headed north to the party town of chaweng, i loved this place, spent most of the day chilling in our luxury hotel thanks to mother bearand mostof the evenings partying with alot of swedes. I cant even remeber most of the stuff we did, but on christmas eve wesplashed out and went toa nice restaurant and ended the night at a hilarious ladyboy cabaret show, i genuinely think that they are hilarious and most of them are actuallyreallynice and open about their little willy they are hiding. Christmas day was spent havingcocktails and roast turkey on the beach it definitely wasnt a roast to shout about but it was good enough considering im sure thai people dont cook roast lunches that often.
Koh samui was amazing and defintiely a place i shall definitely be visiting again!
peace out babezzz
