Bournemouth, UK
As of the 14/04/11 I said goodbye to all my wonderful friends and family and the country that I love and set out for a 24 hour flight to England. Aware as I was of what a gruelling experience the flight was to be, I still could not have prepared myself for the utterly uncomfortable, exhaustive and strenuous journey half way across the world~! With stopovers in Singapore and Abu Dhabi the night seemed neverending, not in the least helped by the stewardesses constant distribution of food and beverages which, whilst certainly placating all us cramped passengers, hindered any chance a solid sleep. I arrived in Heathrow airport fatigued and delirious and somewhat distraught due to the freezing temperature I'd just arrived in. Still I somehow managed to find my way to Bournemouth where I met with Luke, a friend of Kez's, who was nice enough to put me up (and put up with me) for the three nights before my tour. I slept, fell down a flight of stairs, and decided I needed to sleep some more~! On Saturday we explored Bournemouth - and I welcomed the chance to stretch my legs and work off some of the processed 'food' the airlines so copiously supplied; before sleeping some more! Today I discovered that England does in fact have a sun and made full use of my time by sunbaking on a trampoline. Tomorrow I head into London for a night at the Click 78 hostel in preparation for my Euro tour the following day.
