Sheep, llamas, wild pigs, donkeys, any assortment of animals just wandering the streets in the cities?
People living quite happily in unfinished houses which they never intend finishing building? (they don't have to pay tax if the building is unfinished!)

re: Cake for breakfastCissa Hello. I'm from Belo Horizonte. I found quite funny and true to her vision of my city. Surrounded by mountains, Belo Horizonte (Beautiful Horizons in English), the capital of the state of Minas Gerais is a big city with a small town characteristics. The bus drivers are really inconsequential, but buses are comfortable. No more dangerous compared to Chilean bus, for example. The forró is a common dance in the north and northeast of the country, but the cities of Minas Gerais and São Paulo usually have good 'forrós' too. Minas Gerais is known for simple people, they like cheese biscuits, coffee and homemade cakes! With coffee, the cakes are excellent combinations. For you must have been as strange as me when I lived in the US and Americans ate bacon and sausage in the morning! It is to wrap the stomach. Her time was little to see what the city can offer, but I hope you enjoyed and come back soon! :)
re: Cake for breakfastSachin honestly, while that sounds terrible, you´ve convinced me that its possible to hike from pto madryn to buenos aires. i will be doing so tomorrow afternoon. as a single male, i should be at lesser risk, hopefully!
re: The hitchhikers guide to route 3Amalia if u say europe is cheaper and better, go there! Stop throwing s*** over Uruguay, I know that it is not well organized, but i can tell u that the prices u are sayng are for the expensive things, u can find much cheaper stuff. Also, what do u want? to change the weather? it is hot and humid cause is our f***ing weather! if u do not like it , i recommend u should go to another place, and stop making bad comments about such a pretty place. If u go to a unknown place, u should get info about the best places and the most affordable, also try the typical food that is very cheap if u are short of money. I am sorry if i sound rude, is just that i can not stand tourist criticizing when they do not know the reality of our place. And yes, if u go to the grocery, u may find higher prices than most of other places, but if here we can afford them with our s***ty salaries, i am pretty sure that for someone who can afford a trip here, the prices won't be that unaffordable. And 4 benjamin dury, f*** him! the fingers are a sculpture that exist in many places of the world, also in your beloved europe. Kisses
