Today was the last leg of the first stage of the tour and we were aiming to arrive in Adelaide in the early evening. There was an option of doing a walk before we left which some of the group opted for, but I, along with several others, took the option of duvets, hot chocolate and Finding Nemo. It was still raining outside and ver cold so I reckoned I was justified in my decision due to having only one spare set of clothes. We hopped on the bus after lunch and headed south to Adelaide. After about 2 hours we stopped in a small town for some wine-tasting and hot chocolate, before arriving in Clare Valley. This region is famous for its wine and consequently the majority of the land consists of vineyards. We reached Adelaide at around 6.30 pm, had a quick turn around, before setting out to discover the town's Saturday night life. We ended up in a country-themed pub, The Woolshed, which seemed to attract the city's cowboyds wih full costume of hats and leather-skinned boots. We had a great laugh trying out the Bucking Bronco before PJ and I hit the dancefloor. I have never danced so much in my entire life but we were doing turns and lifts for the rest of the evening. We returned to the YHA hostel at around 4am where we sank gratefully into our beds for a very long and well-deserved sleep.
