Bula bula! Just arrived back in Nadi today - the trip was terrible - raining - seasickness and canibals chasing us all over the place! Thats actually not quite acurate - it was awesome! We met the group we were sailing with - everyone got on really well and set of on our boat - the Pelorus Jack - on Monday morning. We sailed up to White Rock island and did some snorkling over an amazing reef then headed to Mantaray island where we did more snorkling then had bbq then off to island for some evening drinks watching the sun-set over the pacific. We all ended up sleeping on the deck of the boat under the stars - which are fantastically bright and clear. Up at 7 for some more snorkling then of to Waiya Island where we went to a village to meet the locals and had a Kava ceremony. Kava a drink u get when u meeting or leaving people - gives u a bit of a numb tongue and apparently numb brain if u have enough. The locals then sang some songs and danced - was really good! Spent the night anchored just of the island - the 2nd mate on our boat - guy named Luki - did a fire show for everyone - he also tore the husk of a coconut with his teeth then split the coconut with his hand - quite a tough wee chap! We drank plenty Kava with the locals then headed back to boat and slept on deck again. We then sailed to Robinson Crusoe Island - on the way we passed Castaway Island where tom hanks filmed Castaway and Bounty Island where Lost is being filmed. Robinson Crusoe island very nice to - loads of hammocks on the beach and penty of activities to do - we went snorkling - hand-line fishing over the reef where i actually caught a Coral trout - it was a monster at about 1/2 a pound! Did some Kayaking - got massages - learnt some polynesian dances - emma weaved herself a bracelet - climbed a coconut tree - and off course lazed around and had drinks on the beach - its been really stressfull! We exended our stay there by one night so just got back today. We in Nadi now and buying some cheapy gifts for everyone - they are of the highest quality of course and in cheapy we really mean hugely expensive so u better all appreciate them! Not to sure what we gonna do tmrw - gonna try and go to South Sea Island on monday - its only 100m across and all thats there is a bar and some hammocks so should be relaxing after the last stressful few days. Spend the day there then fly to LA on monday night - its weird cause we fly at 2330 on monday night - its about 10hr flight and we land at 1515 on monday afternoon.
