I am a little behind in my blog, but honestly, who actually reads them? It's not like I am getting any messages on my message boards or anything from people I know saying wow, or glad you are still around!

Anyhow, Venice, what can I say? It was a short trip, too short for my liking. We started off our mini vacation at a beach, Lido beach! It was great weather, I got a nasty sunburn, because we found the cheap sunblock after going to the beach! Murphy's Law I tell you! Had a great supper and went to some sort of bar that was outdoor. A few locals tried to pick us up, but we managed well, changed our names and informed that we were happily engaged. They bought us a few drinks, so we let them...hehehe... I don't see anything wrong with that! We only stayed at the beach for two days and two nights, then we were off to the busy city of Venice!

The hostel was different, but the people that were staying there were amazing. We went out a few times as a group and had a blast. Honestly hostels are the way to go for travelling, it's cheap and you meet interesting people. We had good experiences, as well as a bad one, but hey, c'est la vie! The great part is that we got to experience it as a group.
