Today we visited 2 of the museums with the third being closed. They are sign posted on walls in Fira but best to get an idea of where they are on Google Maps first or other map. We found it amazing looking at the pottery, ceramics, marble statues and figurines which had been found at Ancient Thira and Akrotiri. The museum which holds the frescoes was a highlight too. After seeing majority of island yesterday we planned to walk from Fira to Oia. We drove there first parking the car and walked through the very quiet streets to,find the bus stop.
