We had a relaxing morning, breakfast from the local bakery. No real good coffee in Singapore , it's McDonalds espresso machine or local coffee called Kopie which is real black thick coffee mixed with condensed milk like substance. Very sweet. I went for a swim in the hotel pool which is on the 4th floor, beautiful clean pool with the most lush garden surrounding the area.
Caught a taxicab to Raffle Hotel for lunch , expensive but food Devine. Had to have a famous Singapore Sling at $28 per glass. Only live once and probably only time ever in Singapore.
Spectacular building, those movies now like Casablanca we can say we have been there to that Hotel.
I would have to say the best thing about this country is the food , dinner was at the Lighthouse restaurant over the road from the V hotel in Lavender , seafood to die for, would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.
Now for bed .
