We will use this travel blog to record all the laughter, tears, quarrels, blood, sweat, blisters and tears (and thats just Geoff!). We have decided against going down the camping route for this expedition, opting instead for B&B and hostel accomodation. As I have explained to Geoff he will have enough to carry (i.e me) without lugging all the camping equipment too!

We now have boots, Elaine has walking trousers, and is losing her rag 'cos she can't find a matching 3-in-1 jacket/fleece combo. I think we're off to Langdale soon!
