Highlights from Australia
The Blue Montains - one of the most incredible places on earth and a great place to start seeing Oz
Theme Parks - although not the best in the world it was a great break from sightseeing and just fun to let our hair down
Australia Zoo - not just a zoo but an education and what a remarkable memorial to Steve Irwin
Animals - I've held a Koala (Jaffa), seen wild saltwater crocs, saw an amazing cobra show, embarrassingly found out that Dodo's were extinct after thinking I saw one, seen dingoes in the wild on Fraser Island, realised Tasmanian Devils were real (thought that was just a cartoon), stroked kangeroos, fell in love with wombats, seen turtles and dolphins in the Great Barrier Reef and came face to face with the worlds most horrid and scary spiders
Fraser Island and Lady Musgrave Island - both beautiful in their own ways and very memorable
The Great Barrier Reef - you dont realise the beauty until you see it for yourself
Got eaten alive in the rainforest - dont recommend it much!
Seen fabulous waterfalls - my favourite being Dinner Falls in the Atherton Tableland
Found Port Douglas - a gem
Walked up Genoa Peak - no words to describe it
Seen how Bundaburg Rum is made
Been on some beaufitul beaches - Tallow Beach at Byron Bay was spectacular
Climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge - never again, once is enough!
Drove 4500 miles
And all of this while living in a space the size of my kitchen at home - our beloved RV!
